I recently just fixed a friend's game (and another no-name n00b)

If you've got Win7, do this:

start >
type: "Windows Firewall"
- first option should come up as "Windows Firewall w/ Advanced Security", select it.
- on that window, in the middle portion, you should see "windows firewall properties", select it
- on the first 3 tabs: domain, private, public -- make sure firewall state is OFF.

try launching now see if it works...

I play now on hamachi, because gaming via tcp-ip let's you rejoin after a out-of-map and because it is much faster, easier to connect and without dumb problems of voolby. Also with no ****s on chat .
Yesterday i caem here and played with 3 more ltv, because we missed it, because we dont want this to die on voobly(since our member list and stuff is here on voobly) and because we saw that there are now private forums for teams here.
For the rest, go to the wc and do it hard

and if you lose connection with gameranger it all closes out even the game


before in the good ole days the game would stay running msn gaming zone was the best
then igz was real good but when they started voobly it was over

this game used to rock gamespyarcade is still left at least but people really don't care about this game anymore,bus only really ruined it also.

Yeah, pretty much everyone I know, who are legit players, left voobly because of the anti cheat system. The concept is good, but it just doesn't work well in practice. There are all kinds of legit mods out there, you can't hope to gold list all of them. You might want to try looking for specific files inside the mod? I also noticed that you can't use nat transversal without anticheat, very lame.

Really a shame, isn't it? Voobly was such a nice way to play multiplayer, ruined by a shoddy anitcheat system that you few people thought was so good. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted, but we've all moved onto a better client now.

LTV DB, where is everyone (if any) playing MM2 now adays? im a old player from the zone and found the old CD for the game and i wondered if there are any players from the zone days still playing today?

yeah its dead ,mods is what made this game what it was.
it was an awesome game but not by itself of course.
everyone used mods even the bus drivers .
now they locked the game to its boring self no one wants to play here
but they really don't care this is basically a place to play Age Of Empires
really sucks when a small group takes control of something good
reminds me of Americans how they control everything people do or think no matter how much people complain . its a control thing .
they will get their final say by probably banning my account but by that time i will be long gone.

and there are still plenty of ways to play the game i would mention some places but the ****'s would put me in the gas chamber, i will be a good boy and do as I'm told.
